I just love going on vacation, who doesn't? The great escape to a far off land to explore new places, meet new friends and try new foods!
When you are planning a vacation there is one thing to consider and that is making sure the current gas prices are not too high, or else it will cost you an arm and a leg! I am always flexible when I plan a trip. If I see the current gas prices are too high, then I just postpone it until they come back down again. You might also want to consider down sizing that vehicle, it could make a real difference in your pocketbook, the way current gas prices have been rising!
Current gas prices have been staying about the same in Phoenix, Arizona. Current gas prices have been between $2.50 and $3.00 a gallon, which isn't too bad considering the shape the economy is in.
So if you decide to go on vacation, you may want to consider waiting until it gets closer to the 2008 presidential election, because I am expecting the prices to go down about that time! Go ahead and plan your trip, but be willing to be flexible just in case the current gas prices at the time of your trip are through the roof!
