This troubling video has been posted to the web blaming U.S. for the war and for causing troops deaths.  It showed a body in an Air Force uniform layed out on a sheet of plastic with Military I.D. of Major Troy Gilbert and footage of the crash site.  Officials say there is no doubt that the body and the aircraft in the video are Gilbert's.  It is claimed that the voice on the audio clip is said to be Osama bin Laden's.  The vidoe was made by a group linked to al-Qaida.  Gilbert, 34 years old, was killed on November 16, 2006, when his F-16 Cg crashed outside of Baghdad.  According to officials, he crashed becaused he was so focused on helping the troops from attacking insurgents that he flew too low.  We will remember Gilbert as a hero, fighting for his country and devoted to his duty of helping support the troops on the ground.  This is another tragic casualty from the Iraq War.

This story hits close to home for those of us who live by Luke Air Force Base.  Every time we see and hear F-16's fly over our homes, it is a reminder of how lucky we are to have the the air force to help protect us and fight for our freedom.
