What Will The 2008 Presidential Election Bring? |

The 2008 Presidential election will again show the politicians in Washington DC that the overwhelming majority of Americans want the United States out of Iraq. It does not matter if you are Republican or Democrat; it seems both parties want out of the Iraq fiasco. Much of the 2008 Presidential election jargon will be about how best to leave Iraq.
It is truly sad that the major media has taken such a lap dog approach with the current administration as to hard questions about the Iraq war and the freedoms we have lost because of the war. Rather than call the Bush Administration on their lies perpetrated about why we invaded in the first place, it seems that these questions are being ignored. Maybe the Bush Administration hopes it will just blow over into the 2008 Presidential election.
The 2008 Presidential election will be about what direction the country wants to move. Do we want more of the same or do we want to have a government that embraces the Constitution, rather than eviscerating it with additional Patriot Acts.
The 2008 Presidential election will show what Americans are made of. Ben Franklin said "The man who trades freedom for security does not deserve nor will he ever receive either." What will we choose in the 2008 Presidential election?
