The current gas prices have all of us looking around to see what we can do to improve our vehicles' efficiency. I found a couple of ways, besides the obvious tune ups and tire pressure, that seem to have some validity as devices to improve fuel efficiency. The one I found last night is a web site that talks about improving mileage by adding water vapor to your engine so that it gets a boost from the water vapor along with the gas. How it works technically is way beyond me, but I am putting it out there because the web site promises huge improvements in performance while drastically decreasing gas consumption, considering current gas prices.
The web site is watercargift.com, and they claim that the gas savings can be over 100%. I am sure that installing this technology under the hood violates new car warranties, so if your car is out of warranty, consider checking it out. I'd like some people who know more about how engines work to explain it to me. I may just do this, although current gas prices for me are not such a big deal because I work from home.
