Someone just sent me an email with a video embedded in it in which T Boone Pickens talks about solutions to our energy crisis. The current gas prices have us scrambling to make ends meet, and he suggests that we, as a country, get behind the idea of building more wind farms and generating electricity using this free source of energy and taking the natural gas that we save doing it and using it to power vehicles. There are many vehicles that run on natural gas, and it is cheaper as a fuel than gas at these current gas prices. I have natural gas in my home for heating and cooking, and can testify that even the price of natural gas has gone way up over the last couple of years. In fact, I'm seriously thinking about buying a pellet stove for heating my home this winter. At least wood is renewable. In any case, I included the link to the video, and think that his is the most sensible thinking on the subject of the energy generation and current gas prices I have run across for a long time. Check it out.
