The 2008 Presidential Election Still Illusive for Democrats |

The 2008 Presidential election is proving to be quite a race between Obama and Clinton. The news reported this morning that Clinton is probably going to take Pennsylvania, so the primaries in August may be the only way that the Democrats have to decide who will be the candidate. It is a shame that there is so much controversy between Clinton and Obama, which the press has covered in much greater detail than the details of both of their platforms. McCain has an edge in the 2008 Presidential election because there is no one to challenge or contest his likelihood of winning the nomination.
McCain has started to air 2008 Presidential election ads on television, and his position on the issues is solid. It would be great of the Democrats could boast such a solid platform, but until it becomes clear who the candidate will be, it is likely the press will cover the conflicts, the polls, and the controversies surrounding both of these history-making candidates. This is the first time a black man and a white woman have run against each other for president and it is too bad that the campaign is so embroiled in conflict. |
