That is pretty staggering when you consider the average commute length for people outside of the city. It can be hard to do anything though because many of the people who would be willing to get rid of their SUVs are finding a market that does not support the blue book value.

Trucks and large SUVs are selling at record low prices at the lot. Just look at the current Ford deals offered for the new f-150. There is good news about current gas prices, the average barrel price of crude oil is dropping as the American dollar regains some of its worth. The dollar has increased in value against the euro pointing to better economic times on the horizon. But there is no way to say how many more gas price records will be broken before the end of the year.
