It seems that the 2008 presidential election race is all set. On one end we have John McCain and senator Obama on the other. The democratic primaries are not yet over we are already getting glimpses of how the 2008 presidential election will go. However, the main question that we all need to be asking is, how will the 2008 presidential elections change our status quo? From the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed we see and hear prices of food and services going higher. In addition, operation casualty Iraq War is not going as well as we all envisioned or rather as one man envisioned. So what will the 2008 presidential elections bring to our future? In reality, it seems that whatever the 2008 presidential elections bring us, not much will change except the person who lives in the White House. It really does not matter who wins, neither of the candidates will have the power needed to make significant changes to the status quo.
The price hike for food and services has been directly connected to oil prices and it does not matter who wins the 2008 presidential elections, they are not in charge of oil production and have little influence over it. In addition, operation casualty Iraq War has reached a point where we couldn’t get out of there even if God picked Iraq up, turned it over and shook it on top of the US. So what are we left with? Well, we are left with voting in the 2008 presidential elections for the man that has fewer skeletons in his closet and as far as I can tell, this race is going to be a close one. Just this week John McCain got head to head with Obama in the preacher department. It seems that John McCain has been linked to John Hagee, which in case you did not know, said that hurricane Katrina was a punishment for the sins of New Orleans and called Roman Catholics a cult and “The great Whore”. The 2008 presidential election might be completely inconsequential to our lifestyles but it is gearing up to be one good episode of Jerry Springer. If these two candidates are not going to give us any substantial improvements then they better entertain us with their 2008 presidential elections shenanigans. As of right now I give them an A.
