current gas prices Current gas prices have all of us digging deep into our pocketbooks to find ways to make ends meet. There was a news report this morning saying that Exxon's profit for the first quarter was nearly $11 billion dollars in 2008. It seems that capitalism is good for someone these days! Thank goodness this is an enterprising country. There are ways to save money on current gas prices by using less. Several things I'm investigating are adding equipment and additives that claim to cut fuel consumption considerably. The first I've done is use an inexpensive additive which is gives me 56 more miles per every 200 that I drive, which is significant. The next is a device I'm going to add to my car's engine that runs on water. They claim that you can save 40% on gas with it. Apparently it splits water into hydrogen, which helps the gas consumption. I have no idea how it works, but it comes with a 100% money back guarantee, so if it works, great; if it doesn't, I'll take it off and start driving less to combat these current gas prices.
